Theater Mania: Petite Rouge Review

Review: Why Grandma, What Big Pasties You Have! and Other Cheeky Delights at Petite Rouge

By Pete Hempstead

Petite Rouge, McCormick’s latest confection, explores, as you correctly guessed, Charles Perrault’s fairy tale Le Petite Chaperon Rouge (“Little Red Riding Hood”) through a mature lens. Cocktail Magique Must Close

“There was a kindliness about intoxication- there was that indescribable gloss and glamour it gave, like the memories of ephemeral and faded evenings.”

—F. Scott Fitzgerald

A Spectacular Farewell

After three “extraordinary” (The Australian) years and over 575 “tantalizing” (Metro Weekly) performances, Cocktail Magique takes its final bow on February 8.

What a marvelous party it’s been! Our longest-running show to date. Our most magical. Over 33,000 delighted guests have raised glasses in our intimate speakeasy, savoring more than 92,000 cocktails amid feats of prestidigitation and wonder. Countless birthdays transformed into unforgettable celebrations. Anniversaries made even more romantic. Bachelorette parties elevated to pure spectacle.

This is your last libation, your final chance to experience the magic before the curtain closes on our cozy cocktail sanctuary. Secure your seat for one final sip of the “beauty and excess” (The New York Times) that has crowned Cocktail Magique “one of the city’s most spectacular, fun, and unique nights out” (New York Theatre Guide).

MUST CLOSE FEBRUARY 8

Reality Stars Share Dating DOs and DONTs

By Daniel Reynolds

“My most romantic queer date was definitely when my fiancée surprised me for dinner on my birthday with this queer off-Broadway show in Bushwick. It was the most spectacular show I’ve ever seen. It was called Nutcracker Rouge, and I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time.” – Lexi Goldberg from The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 1
