I would give 100 stars if I could. I have been to this venue for several shows, including Queen of Hearts, The Nutcracker, Petite Rouge, and their other show/venue Cocktail Magique. The atmosphere is divine, the artistry and level of performance is spectacular. The music and singers there are amazing (special shoutout to Lindsay Rose and Pepper Solana— they are ROYALTY). Oh, darling, and the cocktails are to die for! You'll find nothing that is as sensuous, fun, and magical as this place. Great for a friend's outing or date or EVEN by yourself. You'll want to come time and time again.

I've now seen several productions by Company XIV, most recently Petite Rouge, as well as Queen of Hearts and Cocktail Magique, and every experience has been wonderful. Each production has its own unique style and atmosphere, yet all are filled with incredible talent, artistry, and attention to detail that continually brings me back for the next show. The performances are mesmerizing, and the ambiance at the venue where I saw Queen of Hearts and Petite Rouge is stunning and immersive from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend experiencing Company XIV at least once - though chances are you'll want to return again. As both a designer and photographer, I also wanted to include a few photographs I took that capture some of the visual beauty of the performances and venue.

As both a jewelry and chandelier designer, and someone who is deeply inspired by creativity, color, dance, and movement - I especially appreciate the beauty of the venue itself. The chandeliers, crystals, lighting, and overall visual environment are inspiring in their own right and create the perfect setting for these performances. Highly recommend experiencing Company XIV at least once, though chances are you’ll want to return again. As both a designer and photographer, I also wanted to include a few photographs I took, inspired by the incredible atmosphere and visual beauty of the performances and venue.

I've been here multiple times, a couple of times to see Nut Cracker Rouge, to see the Alice in Wonderland show, and now to see the newest riff on Red Riding Hood, Petit Rouge. Each show is choreographed by someone employed by XIV. This is unique and you won't see it anywhere else (anyone old enough to remember the mass produced cheer routines from Bring it On?) This is truly a welcoming space, everyone can come here and be themselves. The bodies are lithe, svelte, glistening, beautiful. The acrobatics can't be matched. I am always astounded at the beauty of the erotic ballet numbers. I think those are my favorite part. The deep, soulful vocals of the diva singers can't be forgotten either. I think I've said before, I've done the couples couches and the small chairs along the stage. The small chairs are a better value and really a better view for most things, unless something is from the ceiling behind you. You can also upgrade with things like champagne and cocktails. But overall, if you get one of the small stage seats, a very affordable night out. And you can kill some time across the street at JukeBar (reviewed separately).

The performers are phenomenal, the staging and costumes are breathtaking, and every moment pulls you in. The whole space glows with energy and imagination, like stepping into a dream you don’t want to end. Make sure to get a cocktail because they’re just as fabulous as the show. I can’t wait to visit Cocktail Magique!

The talent is extraordinary, especially the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts whose vocal agility and stage presence are breathtaking. Every detail, from the costumes to the choreography, feels lush and intentional. The entire experience is immersive and unforgettable. Order a cocktail while you're there because they're every bit as fabulous as the show. I can't wait to come back for Cocktail Magique.

A Dazzling, One-of-a-Kind Experience You’ll Never Forget. GO! Company XIV is one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences in New York. We saw Queen of Hearts and it was dazzling from beginning to end. The performers are unbelievably talented, especially the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts whose voices had my jaw on the floor, several times. Every detail, from the costumes to the music and choreography, is stunning. The whole evening feels immersive and so special. Be sure to have one of their cocktails while you’re there because they’re as fabulous as the show itself. I can’t wait to visit Cocktail Magique, on my next trip.

It was executed beautifully with humor and great variety of acts. If you're thinking of going, just go. Expect to see everyone's booty and boobies. Ha.

The music was incredible, the dancing was mesmerizing, and the singers? Seriously blew me away! Everything about it was top-notch – even the service was amazing. The whole place had such a great vibe, it just added to the whole fantastic experience.Seriously, it was such a fun and beautiful night. If you're looking for something memorable and spectacular, this is it! You won't regret it.

KatjaJuly 2, 2025Wowowwowoww I went to watch Queen of hearts and I was in awe the entire time! The cast is super friendly and I love the whole experience even to get seated! The show was absolutely amazing and worth even more than what I paid. It feels very intimate even in the back. And the location is very cool. Lots to do right around there.

Krista J.May 29, 2025Honestly, the Queen of Hearts at Theatre XIV was one of the best, most inventive, and truly entertaining shows that I've ever seen. Everyone is so talented...the roller blading Mad Hatter and the belly dancing Caterpillar were absolute standouts! You are seated in a cozy small theater in very comfortable seats, and it feels so sexy and intimate. There's a lot of "haze" and incense to add to the atmosphere. Drink are available at one of two bars...good tip: the bar near the entrance is busier before the show and less busy during intermission. I was so impressed by the overall production, from the theater design to the actual acting and all the choreography. Amazing!

I just want to shout out that this was an amazing performance, I've lived in the neighborhood for seven years now and honestly walked past it ages ago and remember thinking wow this sounds cool and then life happens and it was out of my budget for a while and I had the opportunity to go and was so excited to take it, and I was not disappointed. In fact, I was completely blown away and inspired and want to come again to all the shows! I went with a group which was fun, but this would be such a good date night, even to go alone and to just chat and make friends around after or before. This is a highly recommended event to do if you ever get the opportunity. Every single part was filled with talent, and the service was amazing as well. There's cocktails available which is always nice but those are still expensive at $16, there's a cheaper NA option of good ginger beer or rose lemonade and the chips are reasonable price too. They encourage you to hoot and holler and make noise and cheer, and you will want to because every act is just amazing and filled with talent.

Our champagne on ice and gold speckled infused rose hip liquor cocktail named " Alice " greeted us at our plush velvet chairs. This Cabaret/ Circus / Burlesque / Opera/ Dance performance was a first rate , top notch theatrical extravaganza . An assault on all your senses . And I mean that in a good way . With such lavish design - a feast for your eyes and ears . Decadent, Bawdy ,Naughty and a sheer delight . We were awe- struck . A must see if you're in town.

Production I saw was the Queen of Hearts & not only should guests tip the bartenders & servers but also don’t be shy to applaud & cheer appropriately at the end of eye popping stunts in aerial, balletic sequences-not easy to achieve on a curved proscenium stage(!) and the singing!!! Wow. Many fascinating lighting effects and the interior on a whole is exquisitely designed. My friends and I left feeling elated & giddy. Performers mill around the lobby & bar afterward so you can give your adulations in person. These performers are The Best of the Best & I only hope this creative team gets an obscene amount of funding to create more venues and shows like this. Singers, dancers and acrobats need more spaces to shine in like this gem.🫶🏻
B MSeptember 24, 2024Every time seems as it’s your first time! This is by far one of the best shows in NYC. Great music, great singers, and amazing trained dancers. All of the cast were so uniquely entertaining! Love Queen LEXXE music ! The costumes were great as well!
HSeptember 14, 2024One of the best experiences of my life. I have gone twice, once in the old space, and once in the new, and it was otherworldly both times. I didn’t think Queen of Hearts could be topped…I was wrong. Be careful, because after attending one of these burlesque performances, everything else will pale in comparison and you might find yourself across the world at another cabaret, wistfully wishing to be back with Company XIV.
