Zane Pihlstrom has been collaborating with Austin McCormick and his dancers on the decadent costumes and set designs of Company XIV productions for nearly eight years.  His work with the company has garnered him a Drama Desk Nomination and an Innovative Theater Nomination. Outside the sparkling world of Company XIV, Zane frequently designs plays and operas with international theaters in Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Lithuania and China. He holds his MA from the Yale School of Drama.


Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew is a NYC based lighting designer. Her designs have been seen in venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Rose Theater at Lincoln Center, the Kitchen, HERE Arts Center, St. Ann's Warehouse, La Mama ETC, ArtsEmerson, Manhattan School of Music, Joyce SOHO, REDCAT and Highways Performance Space, and internationally at Havana, Prague, Lima, Graz and Edinburgh.  With Company XIV, in addition to Nutcracker Rouge, she has designed Rococo Rouge and Cinderella.  Her work was described as “…contains the vibrant richness of a Caravaggio painted in neon.” Other recent works are: Water Passion with Tan Dun at the MET, September Spring with Sam Falls and Hart of Gold, Ludic Proxy with Aya Ogawa (awarded the Bel Geddes Design Enhancement Fund), Zoetrope Part 1+2 with Caborca (at Encuentro Festival Los Angeles), Gloria – A Pig Tale with Doug Fitch and Alan Gilbert (NY Philharmonic), the premiere of Stephan Weisman’s Scarlet Ibis and Kamala Sankaram’s Thumbprint at Prototype, Debussy’s Pelleas and Melisande with Isabel Milenski, Matthew Paul Olmos’ So Go the Ghosts of Mexico Part One (nominated for Best Lighting Design), Erik Ehn’s commemorative cycle Soulographie: Our Genocides, Andrea’s Thome’s Pinkolandia, Kara Lee Corthron’s AliceGraceAnon, and Aron Eli Coleite's The Family Room.  Recipient of the NEA/TCG Career Development Program and teaches at Stony Brook University.


Sarah Cimino is the company makeup artist and the makeup designer for Company XIV. Productions include: The Judgement of Paris, Le Serpent Rouge, Le Cirque Feerique!, Lover. Muse. Mockingbird. Whore, Pinocchio, Snow White, Judge Me Paris, La Fete, Rococo Rouge, Nutcracker Rouge, and Cinderella.

In addition to her work with Company XIV, Sarah supervises the Wig and Makeup Department of the Juilliard School.  She is also a member of the Juilliard Drama Faculty, where she teaches Stage Makeup. Sarah has lead makeup workshops for MAC Cosmetics, NYU Graduate Costume Designers, NYU Graduate Actors, Manhattan School of Music, the Juilliard Dance Division, Juilliard Vocal Arts, and the Tom Todoroff Conservatory. Additional theatrical credits include: The Santa Fe Opera, Gotham Chamber Opera, Princeton Opera Festival, Curtis Opera Theatre, Mannes Opera Department, Manhattan School of Music, The Lincoln Center Festival, Lincoln Center/Mitzi Newhouse Theatre, Disney's Mary Poppins, National Black Theatre/Take Wing and Soar Productions, The NYC Ballet, Lunge Dance Collective.

Sarah has her BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts; Experimental Theatre Wing. She is a member of Makeup and Hairstylist Union Local #798.
